*Update 18/03/2020 – The North East MAG has now also been cancelled by the organisers following this week’s government advice*
020 – The Lancs/Cumbria MAG has now been cancelled so the livestream on 26 March will not go ahead.*
Registration is now open for two upcoming money advice group livestreams. If you’re not able to attend your local MAG in person, this is a great opportunity to get updates from sector speakers by joining remotely.
Firstly, we will be joining the North East MAG on 19 March at 10.30am to hear from Judy Barber of Surviving Economic Abuse. Surviving Economic Abuse is a charity dedicated to raising awareness of economic abuse and transform responses to it. Judy will explain what economic abuse is, how to recognise the signs and how to help and support clients. Please register here for this livestream.
Then on 26 March at 1.15pm, we will join the Lancs/Cumbria MAG to hear from Georgina Lamb of the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution.
R.A.B.I (the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution) is farming’s oldest and largest charity. Georgina will explain the financial support, practical care and guidance available to farmers, farmworkers and dependants.
Please be aware that all times listed are approximate. Many thanks to both of these MAGs for inviting us to livestream, and to the speakers for agreeing to feature.
Advisers can claim 1 CPD point per speaker in the meetings category for both the IMA CPD scheme and the scheme for MaPS-funded advisers.
