Free training for MaPS-funded advisers: book now to avoid disappointment
From July 2020 MaPS-funded advisers can claim a free place on an IMA online training course.
This is limited to two places per MaPS-funded adviser. Funding is limited and places are subject to availability. To claim a free place please select a free MaPS-funded place in the fee box on the online booking form.

Free in-house training for MaPS-funded advisers
We are pleased to offer free in-house training, funded by the Money and Pension Service, for advisers working in MaPS (formerly Money Advice Service) Face-to-Face Debt Advice Projects. Funding is available for the following courses:

IMA-subsidised training places for non-MaPS-funded IMA members: book now to avoid disappointment
From July 2020, we are offering an IMA subsidy for non-MaPS funded members. This applies only to full day courses.
The subsidy is £45 per courses and reduces the amount payable to only £50. This is limited to one subsidised course per eligible member and is subject to availability. To claim a subsidised place please select a non-MaPS funded subsidised place in the fee box on the online booking form.

We have a small grant available to provide free training places for advisers working in Wales who are funded by Welsh Ministers as part of the face to face Debt Advice Project. This offer is limited to one place per adviser and places are subject to availability. To claim a free place, please select a free Welsh Ministers Funded place in the fee box on the online booking form.
Free training for Non-Practising and Trainee members
If you are an IMA member in the Non-Practising or Trainee categories and there is a course that you want to attend, call the IMA office in the morning no more than two working days prior to the course date. If there is an unallocated place available, you can book it free of charge.
We are unable to guarantee that free places will be available on a particular course; if it is very important that you attend, we advise you to book a chargeable place using the normal booking process.
