About IMA training

Online Training

In order to support advisers during these times, the IMA are now offering a range of online training courses. Alongside our newly commissioned course, Maximising Income During the Coronavirus Pandemic, we also have a new half day session on Mortgage Prisoners and a range of our popular courses adapted for online delivery. Death, Divorce and Debt has been updated for 2020, and the latest edition of our Money Advice Legal Update will also be presented as an online course.

All online courses can be booked here, with more dates and courses being added weekly.

Coronavavirus update – 1 May 2020

As a result of the ongoing Covid-19 outbreak, we’ve taken the difficult decision to postpone all IMA face to face courses up until the end of July 2020, with courses after this date to be reviewed when further information is available.

If you have any questions, or need to cancel bookings made for courses currently running from July onwards, please email us on

We understand that this is a difficult time for everyone, and hope that you are all keeping safe and well.

The IMA team.

We see education for advisers as central to our mission of assuring quality in the money advice profession. We have been delivering courses for over twenty years and have established a strong reputation as a key provider of specialist money advice training.

Feedback from our delegates, responses to our training needs questionnaire and our own experience allow us to ensure that our courses are relevant and topical.

We offer training via our open programme as well as our on-demand and in-house services
