- Debt Adjusting

- Providing Credit Information Services
Once authorised, Intermediaries need to renew their approval every twelve months. This involves confirming their details and declaring that they continue to meet the criteria as set down in the relevant regulations. The IMA receives and monitors details of the DRO applications made by our Approved Intermediaries and will use this along with any complaints made to continually assess the suitability of advisers authorised by us.
The IMA as a competent authority has the right to revoke the approval of an Intermediary if we decide that they are no longer suitable for the role or no longer meet the qualifying criteria.
