IMA Council

The IMA Council is made up of the IMA Branch Representatives, who are elected by IMA members in their region. The role of the Council is to support and organise the regional Branches, act as a forum for the discussion of issues relevant to members, and to facilitate communication between the membership and the IMA Trustee Board. To achieve this the IMA Council elects one of its members to sit on the IMA Trustee Board and a member of the Trustee Board also attends Council meetings.

Members of the Council are also eligible to sit on the IMA’s various sub-committees including the Membership and Professional Standards Sub-Committee and the Accreditation and Qualifications Sub-Committee.
