Confidentiality Policy
Information given to the IMA is confidential to the organisation and is not disclosed to a third party without your consent.
In practice, there are occasions where it is necessary for us to share information with third parties to enable you to receive IMA services. These include for example:
- The Money Advice Trust, to enable you to log on to the wiseradviser web site
- Course tutors need names of those booked to attend courses
- Venues. Several companies who donate the use of premises often require the names of delegates attending courses to enable access to premises
- IMA Website Administrator to enable you to access the restricted areas of the IMA website
- External contractors e.g. Conference Event Management
- Event Administration undertaken by external contractors
This list is not exhaustive.
By signing any membership application/ renewal form/ IMA event booking form, you are consenting to the IMA sharing information with approved partners. The IMA will only share information relevant to the circumstances.
Members are able to apply for a copy of records held by the IMA on application to the Data Compliance Officer at the Registered Office on payment of a fee of £10.
